Doodle 007 - Shaken, not stirred

After a good night's sleep I feel well enough to attempt more doodles.

I made this without reference materials and just going wherever my lines wanted to go. As a side note, I was listening to melancholic music while drawing these, so they might look a tad wistful.

Drawing without reference. 15 mins, graphite and mechanical pencil on plain moleskine notebook.

Figure drawing without reference following random line of action. 5 mins, graphite and mechanical pencil on plain moleskine notebook.

Dear Saudade,

The first drawing catches at my breath like an early morning intake of icy winter air.

I would like to talk to you about purchasing it. I see that it is in a moleskin, and I understand that this is an emotional endeavor and healing process - so please don't hesitate to tell me if you'd rather not part with it.

I believe that you should be able to see my e-mail address with this comment, so I'll wait to hear from you whenever you've had time to consider it.

Please take care.

Incredible :)
You are one hell of an artist. I love the beauty and power in the sketches, especially the first one. You should try your hand at animating a short. You definitely have the talent.

Oh my gosh, that drawing is fabulous! You have a real talent, I can see that you really draw what you feel and that you don't just slap down anything. Spectacular!!

Wow - so beautiful!

I'm glad you've started drawing again, for many reasons but also the selfish reason of us being able to enjoy what you create :D

I love that first doodle, the one with the girl and the misty kitty. I don't know if you take commissions, but I'd love to have something like that hanging in my home. A sketch on paper, art card, canvas, doesn't matter. I just love that image.

Hopefully you'll be able to see my email address with this post. Let me know if you'd be interested in producing something similar for me.

Even if you're not interested in taking a commission, please keep drawing. You have a remarkable talent.

Thanks everyone! I am trying my best to get better at this again. Hopefully soon I'll be comfortable enough to ink, color and even paint some concepts.

Right now I am not ready to accept commissions, but hopefully soon I'll figure something out so anybody that wants to purchase my drawings can do so.

Well, that is a great concept. If you ever do reproduce it or use it in future work for sale, please let me know.

Thanks,
Esther
