Doodle 077 - Randomness

First: Thanks for bearing with me yesterday and a very heartfelt thank you for all of you who left a message and shared your own struggles. I second guess myself a lot when I write something that is sad or rather personal, but once I get it off my chest I can feel a bit of improvement, I guess I do carry a rather large collection of stones over my shoulders, little by little I hope to start leaving them along the road I am carving for myself and eventually I'll feel better and more free than I have in a long time.

Today I just started to doodle randomly, trying to figure out something to put down on paper is sometimes the hardest part of the whole process, so I have a series of images I gather on pinterest for those times when I get stuck and need some inspiration:

I saw this image a few days ago and decided to repin it, today I went ahead and tried to draw something inspired by her:

As you can see it was a rather loose doodle, I couldn't figure out what I wanted her to be doing so I decided to leave it as is for now. Maybe I'll think of something one day.

Then I did a very fast doodle just to practice a male profile structure without references:

And finally I saw this gif set on my tumblr dashboard, started to draw and ended up with this:

I have no idea what the gif set is all about, maybe a Doctor Who episode I haven't seen (shock!) or a mash-up of two series by fans, anyway  used the girl's face as inspiration and this came out... I don't know, I let my mind do what it wants, resistance is futile.
