At first I was extremely excited, giddy even, but as I sat down to draw and tried to figure it out I became extremely discouraged, my lines were shaky on paper and on the tablet they were even worse. Oh I cried tears of frustration and the poor beautiful Cintiq just sat there acting as a second monitor.
After all the training I have been doing I finally felt it was time for my drawing hand to take a stab at digital doodling again. I had done digital painting while in school and was really getting the hang of it, but of course, after over a decade my skills were pretty much gone.
Today I grabbed my stylus and went to work:
