Doodle 325 - Moving right along

Got the next canvas on the easel and so spent the day setting a background up. It is a mix and layers of gold, copper, bronze and other colors, it took a while to get it more or less where I wanted to.
The golden canvas was so pretty it gave me an idea for yet another painting... might need to go get another canvas for that soon...
Anyway, here is the project so far. Can you tell what it is?
The sketch is very light right now, will start taking shape tomorrow.

    I see the Dapper Giraffe! Cool! That will make a great painting!

Sometimes I venture out into the world, this means I don't get access to the comments section of the blog, which in turn means I can't moderate them and approve them.

Yes, I read and approve every message left here, so don't worry if your message doesn't show up right away, it means I haven't read it yet! I'll always get it when I get back to the internets (proper ones anyway), I will make sure to check.
