I have a weakness for cute things, so I normally go for fuzzy adorable type of animals. As I searched for ermine photos I stumbled upon the photo of an insect called "ermine moth"...

Anyway, once I finished the drawings I thought it would be fun to make this a bit more interactive, so here is the deal: I'll draw the first 10 combos you guys leave on the comments of a cute animal AND an outfit.
For example: Kitten on Elizabethan garb (you can suggest that one too).
This will help me draw a bunch of stuff over the weekend and hopefully will make you guys smile as I try. Sounds like fun?
Ok, then... go!
cockatoo in clown shoes! Love Raffi and Wendy and Vicky
ReplyDeleteOoh, this is fun! I'd love an owl in a journalist outfit. Like one of those old-timey "press" hats and a suit?
ReplyDeleteCause owls are always asking "who?" lol
Ninja leopard!
ReplyDeleteOtter who (otter as doctor who) would be super cute.
ReplyDeleteGerman Shepherd farmer!
ReplyDelete(or, if you don't like that, a German Shepherd in something the Shakers wore)
Labradoodle in a biker style trench coat with biker boots!
ReplyDeleteVelociraptor pirate! I love your drawings by the way, Saudi!
ReplyDeleteSteampunk Platypus.
ReplyDeletePuppy in toe shoes!
ReplyDeleteA seal as a fisherman! Or a hedgehog as a librarian. Fun game! :)
ReplyDeleteAlright! We got all ten. They went faster than I thought.
ReplyDeleteIf you have more ideas and didn't make the cut-off, don't worry. I'm thinking of making these a regular weekly thing.
You can keep posting the combos anyway just in case I finish the first 10 early.
Thanks for playing along with me guys!
Not exactly a combo idea, but if you haven't seen it, you should check out The Bloggess's stuffed ermine, named "Erminie Granger." And she is dressed accordingly. Might be fun to draw, and if not, fun to look at at any rate.
ReplyDeleteIn fact, here is a link for you. http://thebloggess.com/2012/04/home-again-for-a-day/
The moth is killing me, it's like a super stylish bug superhero.
ReplyDeleteLittle late here, but have an idea all the same! Mobster Schnauzer sounds cute/fun to me!
ReplyDeleteI'm late too, but how about an aristocratic Great Dane? That's how I picture my Dane. :-)
ReplyDeleteAnd I absolutely LOVE the moth drawing!!! It really screamed at me and I spent several minutes just oohing and ahhing over it.
