Doodle 028 - Princess and Ariel

Another day, another doodle. I somehow ended up drawing my version of Ariel from The Little Mermaid.

She started out as a single line and the figure sort of organically fell into place.

Ariel - Graphite and mechanical pencil on plain Moleskine notebook. Aprox 10 mins.

After that I kept trying to figure out a second doodle, and I came up with this:

Princess - Graphite and mechanical pencil on plain Moleskine notebook. Aprox 15 mins.
After I was done I realized she kiiinda sorta looks a bit like Princess Peach. Maybe it is the crown.

    Love how graceful Ariel is...it would be cool to do a drawing where her tail fades to foam. Reminiscent of the original story. Which now that I think about it, really sad!
